Castle Farms | The Knights Castle

All because two people fell in love...

One of my favorite venues that I get to photograph weddings at is Castle Farms. I had the opportunity to get to know Amelia and Paul over the phone a bit around the time they booked me as their wedding photographer and again about a month before their big day. I love to know about all the details that make my couples wedding unique to them. So, before I even stepped foot into the historical grounds or into the Knight's Courtyard I knew how much I was going to adore photographing their wedding day. I got to work with some of my favorite vendors which also puts the sprinkles on my cupcake. I hope you liked that analogy. A few things that really stood out to me were how both Amelia and Paul were down with whatever idea I had and didn't rush me if I paused to figure out the wind or shadows direction. I got to be truly creative, and it gave me a burst of adrenaline. Their wedding planner Christina and her assistant were beyond helpful to me and everyone around. Paul's sister is also a wedding photographer and she was my number one hype girl for the entire day. My bestie Sydney did the flowers, so I got my fill of pre-ceremony hugs while we were working in the same area. Casey provided the entertainment and kept the dance floor going with a surprise freeze ray gun. I don't actually know what that cold frosty pew-pew is called but it reminded me of Gru's freeze ray. My second shooter Annie is always catching all the candid photos and places I can't get to when I'm with my couple doing their solo photos.

What I witnessed was true love. The smiles, tears, excitement, laid back cocktail hour, very elegant decor and apparel and fun atmosphere was top notch. I am putting into the universe that I get to photograph for them again someday because they are amazing.
