Authentic Family Portrait Session

Northern Michigan has the most wonderful places to photograph families at. The beach is one of my favorite places to meet clients for photo sessions. This beach specifically because I love the big open space filled with just sand/water but also my favorite glowy field of all time. It’s the perfect backdrop to keep your family in the focus of the frame. The perfect place to just explore, create memories and stand out. I got to photograph Kurstin and Andrew's surprise engagement session, maternity announcement and now pictures with their little man. I love watching them play and adore him. We even included grandma in a few and loved spending time with her too. I have the lighting down to science in every season to hit all the spots at this location. It makes focusing on the details and authentic connection so much easier.
